Angela Sloan, LCSW
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Angela’s therapeutic focus encompasses relationship challenges, role adaptations to parenthood, blended families, stepparenting, co-parenting with high-conflict individuals, life stage changes, depression, anxiety, and postpartum depression and anxiety. Prior to starting her private practice, her career experience includes working with the prosecutor's office and at a prominent children's hospital in Houston, where she provided crisis management, brief crisis therapy, and support for individuals facing fertility issues, postpartum depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Early in her career, she specialized in working with children with Autism. Her combined work experience has assisted her in developing a unique ability to connect with parents during their most challenging life stages.
Angela has been married for over 8 years to her husband, an NFL Alumni, who played for 9 years, and later became a D1 football coach. Together, they share two children and have embraced the challenges of blending their family, navigating parenting, and overcoming career transitions. This firsthand experience has equipped her with a profound understanding of the intricacies involved in building relationships, managing high-conflict co-parenting, and addressing the unique experiences that families in the NFL community encounter both on and off the field. Angela is here to provide a supportive and empathetic environment, leveraging her professional expertise and personal experiences to guide you towards healthy and positive solutions.
